Lauri grew up in Washington state and loves the Pacific Northwest. She worked as a Pharmacy Technician for over 20 years in hospitals, clinics, IV home healthcare, and tribal pharmacies, as well as teaching the Pharmacy Technician Program at Renton Technical College.
While working in Western medicine healthcare for over 20 years, she witnessed its shortcomings in the ability to treat the patient’s whole body-mind, body, and spirit and sought out a naturopathic physician who would treat her whole self. She discovered Dr. Darvish and Holistique and has been a patient here for over 18 years. When the opportunity arose for her to work at Holistique as a Medical Assistant, she jumped at the opportunity.
Outside of working with our patients, Lauri enjoys quilting, time with family and friends, playing fetch with her dog (a million times – he’s a lab), and being a life coach.
