Graduating from nursing school in 2018, Paul began his career in cardiovascular intensive care dealing with acutely ill and surgically-complex cardiac patients. Pivoting to medical intensive care during the pandemic, he spent nearly three years travel nursing from Massachusetts to Texas, Colorado, and Washington. Ready to call Washington home and step away from the bedside, he mastered apheresis over three years ago working in donor rooms and outpatient at Harborview Medical Center. Paul enjoys hiking and camping with his wife, cooking, petting the neighborhood cats, and skiing when the weather is right.
