Dr. Nina Paroo earned her pre-medical degree from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada, and completed her doctorate in naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington in 2001. She then completed an intensive family medicine residency at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.

With over two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Paroo is recognized for her expertise in Functional Medicine and Biological Medicine, helping patients uncover and address the root causes of illness. Her approach combines advanced systems-based diagnostics with a deep respect for the body’s innate capacity to heal and restore balance.

Alongside functional medicine, Dr. Paroo practices biological medicine, a whole-person approach focused on identifying core imbalances and restoring physiological homeostasis. By addressing health at the cellular level and recognizing the interconnectedness of all body systems, she is able to develop highly individualized care plans informed by both time-honored healing principles and modern medical technologies.
